Web Strategies now
offers a course of “Basic Training” for local Libraries and
other groups, providing a hands-on introduction to the PC and
the Internet. This training consists of three ninety-minute
sessions offered to groups of up to sixteen participants.
The instruction
includes lecture, visual presentation using PowerPoint
projections, hands-on practice and one-to-one assistance.
Handouts will be distributed so participants could refer to
the information between and after classes.
This training will
enable participants to better enjoy the opportunities and
excitement of the Internet, and enhance a library or
organization's role as an access point to the world of
information. Help your members and patrons tap the power of
the Internet!
Several variations of
this class are offered, including a two session advanced
version, as well as special classes such as Using Email
and Internet Research Tools.
